Want a quicker way? Press Ctrl + F on your keyboard.
How to Replace Text
Made the same typo many times? Or need to change a name across all slides? Use Replace.
-
From the Home tab, click Replace.
- In the pop-up, type the word you want to change in Find what.
- Then type the new word in Replace with.
- Click Find Next.
PowerPoint will show you the first match. You now have two options:
-
Click Replace to change just this one.
- Click Replace All to change every match in the presentation.
⚠️ Be careful with Replace All. It can change things you didn’t mean to. Always double-check before using it.
Final Tips
- Use Find to quickly jump to specific content.
- Use Replace for fixing repeated mistakes.
- Always review changes before hitting Replace All.
This simple tool can save you a lot of time. Use it wisely, and your presentations will be cleaner and faster to edit.
