Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) runs a national-level entrance test every year. This test is for students who want to join Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). It is known as the JNV Selection Test (JNVST) and follows the CBSE pattern.

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for admission to Class VI in JNVs for the academic session 2026-27 will be held in two phases as given below:
  • On Saturday, 13th December, 2025, at 11.30 A.M
  • On Saturday, 11th April, 2026, at 11.30 A.M
