How to Drag and Drop Cells

Moving cells is easy with drag and drop. You don't need to cut, copy, or paste. Follow these steps:

1. Select the Cells
   Choose the cells you want to move. For example, select H4:H12.

   
   
   

2. Hover Over the Border
   Place your mouse on the border of the selected cells. The cursor will change to a pointer with four arrows.

3. Drag to a New Location
   Click and hold the mouse button. Drag the cells to where you want them. In this example, move them to G4:G12.

   
   
   

4. Drop the Cells
   Release the mouse button. The cells will appear in their new location.
